KOTA KINABALU: One of Sabah Umno’s most eligible bachelors is marrying the only daughter of the Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.Membakut Assemblyman Mohd Ariffin Mohd Arif, 44, will marry 26-year-old Lenny Natasha Musa Aman in Sandakan this weekend.
Ariffin, an Islamic studies graduate, said yesterday that the akad nikah ceremony would be held on Thursday(Oct 18) and the Bersanding on Saturday (Oct 20) at Musa’s residence Sri Libaran.
“It is fated.” said Ariffin in hesitantly admitting that he and Lenny had known each other for some time now.
He shied away from talking about his courtship with Lenny, who is pursuing a course with Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (Unitar) here.
Ariffin, a former public relations secretary to the Chief Minister, was picked as the Barisan Nasional’s candidate for the new Membakut state seat which he won in 2004.
Ariffin, who is the Chairman of the Sabah Native Affairs Council, said that he would be holding a reception at Kampung Pimping in Membakut on Oct 28.
VIPs and guests from around the country are expected to attend the wedding ceremony of Ariffan and Lenny this weekend.
